LOWER NEMAHBIN LAKE ASSOCIATION PURPOSE

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT PROGRAMS

  • Keep informed of key issues affecting the lake area
  • Partner with Upper Nemahbin Mgmt. to monitor lake levels
  • Monitor development activities in the surrounding areas on behalf of lake residents

WATER QUALITY MONITORING

  • Organize volunteer water quality monitors
  • Network with other environmental associations
  • Controlling efforts of invasive plant species, such as Eurasian Water Milfoil​​

GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS

  • ​Ensure representation at Village meetings
  • Monitor pertinent Bills in Summit
  • Maintain contact with government officials
  • Inform our Members
  • Communicate to our Members, issues that may impact the lake
